Character Name: David Ira Roberts

Physical description: David is small looking for his age with shaggy brown hair that falls past his ears. His eyes are also brown though they have faint hazle traces in them. He wears clothing that fits a little loosely around him like a security blanket and favors heavier flannel shirts when he can get away with them. He's often friendly looking he just doesn't openly smile at people that often. He'll instead put his posture towards being friendly.

Abilities: David has extremely powerful senses. He also can keep a scent in his memory for a long time without needing to be reminded of it twice. He can regenerate though not to the same degree as his father in fact they would likely be labeled as being mild.
Weaknesses and flaws: Right now David can't 'tone down' his senses to normal levels at this point. Most of the time he is having too much data go in at once leaving him feeling very ill to different degrees that in turn makes him tire out more quickly than other younger people who also having boosted healing. When he does get more control over his senses he'll still have problems if there's a sudden burst of too much information. For example, food that has been left out for too long or bad burnt smells will nauseate him. In addition to that he also has a slow burning temper and isn't quick to forget transgressions made by others no matter how small.

Backstory: David is the product of an encounter between a barmaid named Catherine Roberts and Logan while he was traveling. She didn't know how to get in contact with him and decided to raise him on her own. When David was growing up she reconnected with her grandfather who took a shine to David who shared his great-grandfather's middle name. He didn't lack for childhood friends in town or room to run and play as long as he was careful. After all it was a safe area but one had to wear yellow or orange in the fall in case of hunters when playing near the woods. He grew up fast and happy to fourteen with very few problems. He was happy and well loved by the people he called family.

His mother took a great deal of pride in her son. Then one day while he was walking down their long drive way from the long dirt road they lived on everything became too much at once and he had a black out. He had several at home and in school before Catherine decided to pull him out of school so he wouldn't get hurt there.He gravitated between feeling very ill and feeling almost ok since then. He also ended up starting a home schooling program. As a student in the program he is rather average because he doesn't enjoy the work books.

I) It was by chance that at twenty-five David Roberts stumbled upon Skrulls, of all things, in the park he helped look after as a Park Ranger. He rarely had to use the abilities his mutation and some training he had gotten over the years to survive the day and call for help.

He ended up calling SHIELD, then latter griped that he should have just stayed an X-Man.

II) David never met his father. He grew up though and somehow stumbled upon being a cop. He met a nice girl and a baby was on the way.

He never once wondered if things had been different. But he missed Ira and he noted the fact that no one seemed to understand him except for his wife. He slips an arms around her and listens to her sleeping. While he still wondered about how things might be different he was still very happy right where he was.

III) He's with the latest incarnation of the X-Men. He laughs a little easier and talks a little more than he used to. They're family to him now. They deserve the chatter he can produce at times.

He can't see himself doing anything but this and the biology he teaches when they aren't saving the world from the latest really weird thing. He has his family and when he needs to a place in Vermont where he can unwind. His life is very fulfilling.
